Delivery Information
Here is an overview of how we will deliver your Honeyrose organic handbaked cake orders:
By Courier - We deliver by courier service in the UK. We have selected the most reliable, speedy and economical option:
Geographic exceptions - If your delivery address is in the remote highlands of Scotland, the outlying islands of the UK, and Northern Ireland, we will work with you to get your order to you as efficiently as possible. For orders outside the UK please contact us at cakes@honeyrosebakery.com before placing your order so we can walk you through the process which involved one extra step.
International Orders - Yes we can send you our delicious cakes wherever in the world you are, but it involves an extra step. Mail us at cakes@honeyrosebakery.com prior to placing your order for us to explain the process which basically is:
a) You tell us the weight of your order (email us which products and how many, we'll do the math)
b) Based on the weight we let you know the actual delivery charge and days (c. 5 days to most of the globe)
c) When you place your order, you top up the standard £7 UK charge by the amount of your international delivery by purchasing the needed amount of "£1 postage units" (online shop-->special occasions--> £1 extra postage units) or here
Yes, a bit of a workaround as we have a simple website, but it works. We pass through the delivery charge, nothing in it for us.
Delivery days -
We bake your order fresh - we don't keep stock and handbake everything. So we need two days to mix the ingredients, bake them, cool them down, slice, then package...and finally get the courier to pick them up and deliver them to you. Orders placed past the 1pm cutoff time will be delivered on the next scheduled delivery day.
National holidays exceptions - Our courier service does not deliver on national holidays (Christmas Day, New Year's Day, etc.). Should your normally scheduled delivery fall on a national holiday we will move it to the next available delivery day.
Delivery times - The courier will deliver your order from 8am up to 9pm on your day of delivery. If you are not at the delivery address at the dime of delivery, the courier will leave their contact information for you to contact them and arrange a convenient redelivery date.
Leaving orders at the delivery address - You may prefer to have your order left at the delivery address if you can't arrange to be there when it arrives. We will need you to complete one simple step, authorizing our courier to leave the order at the delivery address, at your acceptable risk, without it needing to be accepted and signed for.
Please see the examples below (especially the areas circled in red) and do this:
1. At checkout, after entering your payment information, you will be taken to a "Review Your Payment" screen. Under the list of Items you have ordered, click on "Add special instructions to seller":

2. A window will open, where you can add the following message: "Ok to leave at delivery address if no one is there when courier arrives". You can then review your payment and proceed to the "Pay £XX Now" button to execute payment.

Shipment Tracking - We will email you your tracking number for your package once we have arranged the shipment so you are in control of your order and can do online tracking of your Honeyrose organic delivery goodness making it's way to you.
