Honeyrose Bakery Fudge Brownie

Sweet Jesus. I have just bitten into one of your organic fudge brownies, bought from Sabzi in princes street, London W1. It is the most delicious, moist textured brownie of cake I have ever eaten. It makes Pret a manger and Starbucks especially taste like cardboard. How do you do it? Why don't you supply more outlets. We need people like you!

Honeyrose Bakery Organic Double Chocolate Cookies

Gill (the Enjoy Organic equivalent of a bloodhound with super sensitive nasal radar) was rooting around a London Partridges store the other day when she tracked down a particularly pleasing pack of organic double chocolate cookies.

The very "arty farty", yet aesthetically pleasing product tag talked about a company called Honeyrose Bakery, who have apparently dedicated their life creating, "lovingly handmade   biscuits without the routine use of chemical pesticides or herbicides".

The biscuits were absolutely orgasmic, a true master class in unrestrained chocolate immersion.

What the Honeyrose Bakery packaging failed to mention was the fact that their company also initiate a number of fabulously flavoursome forays into cakes and desserts (under their Organic Pudding Company nom de plume).

Honeyrose Bakery Chocolate Fudge Cake

Quite possibly the most tasty chocolate cake I have ever ploughed through.

Serious chocolate boulders merge effortlessly with chocolate sauce gloop in a silky smooth sponge to provide a truly moist and indulgent slab of chocolate cake genius. As a man with a sweet tooth take it from me that cholesterol overload never tasted better.

It even looks homemade (slightly sunken in the middle!!)

N.B. Also the best company name I have ever wandered across.

Spelt Muffins

I had one of your Organic Fruit and Spelt muffins at the Tate Modern the other day and asked the manager specifically where they had got them from.   I am allergic to wheat and therefore find it difficult to find foods that everybody else takes for granted that I can eat and more importantly that actually taste great rather than just a very poor substitute.   I loved your product and wondered if it was available to buy through any retailers and if so where would I be able to get it and what else do you have in the range.

I also know of 2 other people I work with and are also allergic to wheat and who are very keen to find out more details.

Delicious Wheat-Free Muffins

Hi there,

I saw your products in Coffee Republic in Wimbledon. I just thought I would write and say how delicious your wheat-free muffins are. If I eat too much wheat I get awful migraines, so I am always on the lookout for alternatives. I have to say that to find your products which are not only organic and wheat-free, but also taste delicious is a godsend. I have only tried the Banana Pecan and the Carrot and both are delicious. Usually, I avoid anything with bananas baked in them, but yours are delicious. Even the guy who runs the shop said he enjoyed them and couldn't believe they were wheat-free. Just one question - do you have a calorie count for your products anywhere? If you did, that would be (so to speak) the icing on the cake!! Keep up the good work.

Crying with joy !

Hello Honeyrose Bakers,

My daughter is allergic to wheat, corn and soy (among others) but today she had her first ‘real’ muffin and she almost cried with joy.  Can you let me know where I can find your products – I live in SW13.  Her 7th Birthday is approaching – do you do full sized cakes?  She usually has an icecream cake and I would like to surprise her with a real cake (that can be iced!)

Want them in USA


I was recently in London and discovered your Wheat Free Ultimate Oat Bar. It's delicious and doesn't contain either wheat or corn, which I have problems with. I bought a bunch to bring home to Seattle Washington with me. But since they didn't last nearly as long as I expected, I want to know if there is anywhere in the States that stocks your product? Or if not that, any plans to expand to the US? I was very pleased to see your oat bars and even happier to eat them.

Dear Mrs HoneyRose,

After spending some time on your www site I understand the origins of your upstanding corporation comes from this beautiful shores of Denmark. As the High Priest of my company "Marketing Solutions to the Stars" I think you should commemorate and share the obvious love you have for your home country with your customers by launching a limited edition muffin flavoured with the delights of prune and Danish bacon. I went to my local shop this weekend and bought a lovely pack of Danish's Finest! I wrapped them around some dried plums (aka prunes) and popped them into the oven for 20 minutes on gas mark 6. They were lovely! Since I'm sure you have contacts back in the lovely Denmark I'm sure you wouldn't have any problems finding a crop of quality meat for your commemorative muffins. The prunes might be slightly more difficult but help is at hand because I can recommend Aswad's General Store on Winterbottom Rise - theirs are especially juicy.

Our cakes are highly diplomatic

My work place (The Foreign Office, London) cafeteria sells them. I bought one, told my colleagues about them and now they cant get enough of them! Our canteen is almost sold out of your products each day! Id like to know where in central London, SW1 or SE3 area I can buy them.

Yes, I really liked the products from Honeyrose Bakery. I bought some different ones from Tata Britain to take home. It's not often I find wheat free products that are also organic and taste good, but when I do it's always in the UK.  Congratulations to Lise Madsen with her business. I think she's found some very good products, that will be even more valued in the future. I'm certainly looking forward to acquiring more of your "cakes" either through your website or the next time I visit London. Or maybe some day I can even buy them in Copenhagen. Your fudge brownies are divine - the best brownie in the world

I studied abroad in London for my last semester of law school and had to visit Old Bailey Criminal Court to observe trials for my legal internship. Next to the Old Bailey there is place called Salade that sells your products and I randomly walked in there and tried your fudge brownies. I came back everyday that week and bought one! They are THE best brownies I have EVER tried!
I live in the US and tried to find your fudge brownies here, but no luck. Your fudge brownies are divine - the best brownie in the world - seriously. They are absolutely amazing! I wish I had brought some back with me from London to share with my friends and family!

Golf fans at UK Open 2008 love Honeyrose

Hi Honeyrose,

Last month my best friend Kim and I were in the UK for the Open Championship and discovered your flapjacks in the media centre café.  Not a day went by when we didn't sit down with a nice cup of tea and one of your tasty treats.   Kim is a breast cancer survivor and one of the most special people in my life.  On September 24th she will turn 40 years old.  I was thrilled when I saw that your packages of flapjacks came in bundles of four so that I could send her 40 of them!   What would it cost to send them DHL?  I can't say cost is no object, but I'm willing to pay quite a bit extra in order to have them shipped.  I thought your reasonable shipping charge was probably too good to be true!  As a backup plan we could try the Royal Mail.  I am certainly willing to give it a go.
